HAAGEN-DAZS BIDS FAREWELL

I am saddened by this news. Perhaps, every ice cream lover in the Philippines would be too. Last June, I heard Haagen-Dazs will cease its operation in the Philippines.

I could not believe what I read, so I instantly checked their official website and saw that this was not a hoax.

As I opened the official website of Haagen-Dazs Philippines, a simple one-page information made me stood still for a few seconds. Haagen-Dazs Philippines was not just closing down one or two stores, it was totally closing down its PHILIPPINE OPERATIONS. 


With this very disheartening fact, I made it a point to give tribute to Haagen-Dazs Philippines, through my humble blog. It's the first day of August and we have until the 31st to enjoy deliciously divine tasting ice cream only Haagen-Dazs can deliver. Two more branches are operational until August 31, 2012 - Shangri-La EDSA Plaza Mall and Eastwood Mall. And just last Friday, I already felt the sadness when I saw their ice cream display at Shangri-La EDSA Plaza Mall.


Haagen-Dazs' feature at Eat To Your Heart's Content last August 24, 2011

I would definitely miss hanging out with friends while beating each other's ice cream scoops with Haagen-Dazs Buffet Ice Cream or simply savor a scoop all by myself. I featured Haagen-Dazs Eat-All-You-Can Ice Cream last August 24, 2011 and I will surely miss them dearly. Sadness enveloped me when I saw that Haagen-Dazs was no longer in SM Megamall during my last visit.


To Haagen-Dazs (Philippines), thank you for the cherished moments - to fabulous ice cream concoctions and good company! :)

    i haven't even tried their store and now they are leaving for good? this is sad.
