LOUMARS PIES AND TARTS IN TAGAYTAY CITY

Loumars Pies and Tarts along Aguinaldo Highway in Tagaytay City

Looking for an alternative buko pie shop that would make my Tagaytay trip more satisfying, I spotted Loumars Pies and Tarts at the Aguinaldo Highway, just a few meters away from the rotunda.

A rustic and country feel envelops as you enter and an array of goodies are stacked on the display shelf. Pineapple candies made from Amadeo in Cavite, to piaya, lengua, tamarind candies, banana chips, cashew nuts and their very own buko pies and tarts abound. I was surrounded with so many pasalubong (take home treats) to choose from but I only ended up buying two boxes of buko pie, two boxes of assorted-flavored tarts, a couple of pineapple candies and a pack of tamarind candies.

Loumars Pies and Tarts can very well be my new buko pie sanctuary. The young coconut flesh with crumbly layers of crust is what I would imagine if I were to make my own buko pie.

Loumars Pies and Tarts is located at Barangay San Jose, Aguinaldo Highway, Tagaytay City. Another branch is fronting Jollibee near Tagaytay Rotunda.
