Established at the busy street of P. Burgos in Cavite City, Subi Monte Café is the brainchild of a young couple, Sherm and Melanie Morano. Caviteño yuppies turn to this relaxing place, at the end of a tiring workday. The boldly red-painted interiors somehow helps lift one’s spirit after a gruesome day full of deadlines and stress at the workforce.
Serving light meals
from sandwiches and hamburgers to pasta dishes and your preferred coffee
fix of hot or cold. What I like about this place, aside from the
variety of beverages to choose, their dessert section.
Not normally served in commercial cafés, Melanie had experimented in her kitchen and concocted honest-to-goodness homemade desserts.
Her Graham Cake is made of layers of graham crackers, blueberries then topped with whipped cream.
