If you love fresh
grapes, milk chocolates, nuts and Greek yogurt then you have to savor this
delightful salad creation!
Red, Black and Green Grapes are for
sale year-round at the supermarkets. With the arrival of New Year’s Eve, I knew
that one of the fruits we will have were these trio-colored grapes.
Twelve to Thirteen round fruits are
prepared at the dining table as one of the Philippine New Year’s Eve
traditions. With the abundance of fruits, I was eyeing on making Creamy Grape
Salad with the three colors.
Unfortunately, by the time I was
scouring the supermarket, only two colors were left – red and black. So my dreams
of making a Creamy Grape Salad has to be set aside. I still had red and black
grapes though, so I opted to make something I never tried - Grape Salad with
Chocolate Yogurt Dressing.
I wanted to use yogurt as dressing,
remember I initially wanted a creamy version. I also have some nuts – almond shavings
and macadamia that I haven’t touched for a while, so I wanted to add those.
Since I am adding some nuts, chocolates must be present.
If you love grapes, chocolates, nuts
and yogurt then stick around as we savor this delightful salad creation!
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Red Grapes (seedless)
½ Black Grapes (or more, we kept
eating this delicious color)
1 Tbsp. Almond Flakes
1 to 2 Tbsp. Macadamia
2 to 3 Tbsp. Greek Yogurt (chilled)
¼ Cup Milk Chocolate (chopped and
melted)
1 Cup Lollo Rosso / Lettuce
PROCEDURE
1)
Wash grapes and greens with cold water. Shake
off excess water from greens.
2)
Cut red and black grapes into half.
3)
Place greens on a platter. Spread grapes, alternating
red and black grapes.
4)
Add almond shavings and macadamia around.
5)
In a bowl, mix yogurt and melted chocolate.
6)
Drizzle chocolate yogurt mixture onto the
prepared platter.
7)
Serve and enjoy.

ReplyDeleteHi Jeric, thanks for visiting this Philippine food blog. I'm afraid I can't help with your inquiry, I don't have any catering services (yet). Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteVery interesting blog. A lot of blogs I see these days don't really provide anything that attract others, but I'm most definitely interested in this one. Just thought that I would post and let you know.
