When it comes to native cocoa, nothing comes close to Tsoko.Nut Batirol. Rich, creamy, decadent, simply irresistible.
You will find two versions of chocolate cakes at Tsoko.Nut Batirol. One is made with the rich and full flavor of tablea (native round chocolate tablets) while the other with a regular comforting cocoa blend.
Tablea Mousse is a cupcake that is topped with cream and chocolate syrup and has a lot of character with the native blend of cocoa.
The Choco Mousse, without the chocolate drizzle was moist and smoother.
Their single-serving Chocolate Cake is velvety smooth while the Tablea Cake has pleasant bittersweet blend. Both are slathered with chocolate ganache but the Tablea Cake is lighter in color and slightly dry than the other. The tablea-based sweets may be a little dry but its delicious nonetheless.
Tsoko.Nut Batirol have several branches in Metro Manila. The most accessible for me is at the 2nd floor of SM Makati, near Kultura.
